Piggin' Out SmokeHouse

We hired Zack and Piggin Out for our wedding up in the mountains in September. Due to some unforeseen rain and hail, there was a major mudslide that trapped Zack and his team on the highway. Although we never got to eat the delicious food, they were amazing through the whole process. They informed our team right away and helped arrange a substitute option for us. They also followed up with their deepest apologies and donated the food in our honor. We will sing their praises from the top of every mountain for years to come. They are amazing people with incredible food and we highly recommend them for any event.

Beyond the bomb awesome BBQ! Music out back on the beautiful patio yard, great service, amazing selection of sauces. Glad I found this perfect little neighborhood spot. Can’t wait to return.

This is such a great BBQ shack that I will be coming back on a regular basis. Had the PCBC sandwhich and it was the greatest sandwhich ever. Pulled pork, bacon, green chilies, cheese... heavan on a bun. Next time I will get the meat platters to sample the different meats. Highly recommend

The ribs were my favorite. Do tender falling of the bone. He has different rib sauces and a gluten free sauce all great. Habanero bbq sauce is caliente!! Sorry for the partial eaten food pics but we couldn't help ourselves. Mac n cheese on point. Must try the frito pie.

Some really amazing BBQ!! I loved sitting outside while we ate and enjoyed the weather. Looks like they’ve added a Broncos themed bar out back as well.

wooo-weee! I’m from Missouri and I get pretty picky when it comes to bbq and this place smashed it! Ordered the hot belly sampler and pulled pork sandwich and boy was it tasty! Pork green chili side was to die for along with there habanero sauce. We’ll be returning customers thank you for the tasty food and speedy service. Cheers!

Food was amazing! It’s a hidden gem and I would highly recommend this place. I Will definitely be back.

I haven't been here in a few years, so I decided to stop by today. It was so good. I had a pork Huli sandwich that was amazing. Beans were great, corn bread came straight out of the oven, with butter and honey. I love how they upgraded the seating areas, and added a corn hole court. I'll be back again real soon!

File this under 'you'd never expect it to be this good'. It looks to be a hole in the wall restaurant that only has seating outdoors (there is some cover to provide shade). The food, however, is incredible! Some of the best barbecue we've had in a long time. Definitely a place you should check out for a very casual atmosphere and great food.

Their pig mac mac n cheese is amazing and the corn bread is really good too. Meat is tender and love their bbq sauces. Wasnt a big fan of the hot links

Zach and the crew did a fabulous job supplying lunch for my crew at Evergreen Carwash. There was plenty of food and NO ONE went away hungry. Price was great food was greater. Will order again and again!!!

Went on a snowy Wednesday night and had an amazing dinner. Brought some friends from out of town and the owner offered us 1 of every side to get the whole experience. chicken half was moist and ribs were flavorful and far from small. Can't wait to return!

Great BBQ but a little pricey and very friendly staff

I had Piggin' Out catered for my wedding and couldn't be happier. Zack was very helpful leading up to the day and made sure all bases were covered with food, including my cocktail hour. His staff helped bus tables and clean throughout the night, an unexpected task they agreed to take on. The service was above and beyond. Guests ranted and raved to my parents about how great the food was and the little I got to try was fantastic. Great quality food, excellent service and affordable catering. Thank you guys for making my day!

We recently used Piggin’ Out to cater our wedding of ~130 people. We received a recommendation from a friend who had used them for his wedding as well. It’s safe to say these guys did not disappoint. We worked with Zack to arrange all our catering details, and communication was awesome from the get-go. Always quick to respond and very helpful with and questions we had. As for the food, it was some of the best bbq we’ve had. All of the meats were smoked perfectly and the Mac n cheese was a hit. So many positive comments from all of our guests as well. Would highly recommend!

if you were going to red rocks for a concert then you need to check out this barbecue place which isn't too far away it's well worth the trip. They make the BBQ sauce and have many varieties to choose from for your taste. They have great sides and nice cold drinks which is always good.

We used to live nearby and ate here often. They have great food and are priced fairly, maybe even a bit cheap. I prefer the turkey over the brisket but both are good. The outside has a nice look and feel as well, I love the gravel parking area - it just feels like a bbq place.

Best barbecue since we left Georgia. Lots of meat on the bone and not greasy. Well done!

Best bbq in Denver/Lakewood area hands down. I have been coming here since I was a kid and have introduced several people over the years who all love the food and atmosphere as well. Food is always fresh and very flavorful. You really cannot go wrong with ANYTHING on their menu! The staff is absolutely wonderful as well!

Best BBQ ever yo! I went for my second time and it was definitely, once again, the best I've had in the past 10 years. Cool, chill and friendly staff as well! Felt welcomed!

We used Pig'n Out catering services for our wedding reception, and they were the best!! Zack was so easy to communicate with and met with us for a tasting to pick out all our favorite items. The staff did an excellent job serving the buffet and the food was DELICIOUS! Our guests loved it! Highly recommend!

Best little hole-in-the-wall restaurant you ever going to want to go into the food was wonderful the people were kind and efficient

Piggin' Out is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall, which barbeque fanatics cherish. It's extremely small and difficult to find if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. Keep your eye out for a rusted vintage truck with an open sign displayed on the windshield. What you'll find behind that truck is easily the best barbeque location in Lakewood. The meat is well prepared, and the signature sandwiches offer an awesome spin on barbeque staples. One sandwich in particular, The Rancher, features simply three ingredients: Brisket, Cheese, and Ranch. While unusual, I cannot recommend the dish enough. Regardless of what you end up ordering, you'll walk away wondering when you can come back.

Very good smoked bbq. Try the hawaiian. And the candy bacon is fantastic!!!

This place will now be my go to BBQ joint. Food was delicious brisket is fantastic, potato salad was great and I usually hate potato salad, and the beans were smoke and sweet but not too sweet like baked beans usually are. Awesome bar in the back with a solid selections of beers and tasty mixes drinks all for a reasonable price. And the service was absolutely the best. Very friendly and kind. I ask one young lady if they sold corn bread cause I didn't see it on the side list and thought she was carrying some. I must of missed it on the menu but she was so amazing she brought me a piece for free. I mean DANG!!! And it was delicious. No indoor seating which could make it a challenge at times but the out door area has a great vibe and feels like a true local spot. Will be coming back or even catering for parties. Great Job you guys keep up the amazing work.

Great BBQ. Just walking in you can tell it is going to be good by how the restaurant smells. There’s lots of selection on the menu, which is nice and all the food is delicious. Plus there is a self serve station with a bunch of different sauces to try with your food. The staff are very helpful and kind. Would recommend and would revisit.

Still thinking bout this place/experience... WOAH. Cool staff, who you can tell really care about the joint! The blues and big band swing playlist goin really made the views and the food that much more satisfying. Great vibe. Even though we left completely stuffed, we got in the car still salivating at the smell outside alone.I need to get back here ASAP. We were both raised in the area and are both mad we waited this long to try.

The best Bbq I've had in the entire area so far. It's just amazing how every single item is perfect. Not only was the food amazing the staff and atmosphere was wonderful. It's very hard to impress me and I am very impressed!!

I use Entertainment app to find places to eat where I have never been. Usually you get a discount so it's worth a try. This place is small tiny building with small menu of choices. AMAZING!!!!! Sometimes the best places, especially BBQ, are the small places hidden in neighborhoods. This one is just that. Our friend ordered the sample plate that could easily feed 3 people and the food was delicious. Tiny place indoors to eat but plenty of tables outside where the grass is green and the sky is blue. If in the area or even 10+ miles away make the drive to Piggin Out Bar-B-Que. You will thank me some day. It is real BBQ. Don't look for silly menu fillers this is the real deal. And the folks that work there are Southern Sweet. BBQ done right.

The best BBQ in colorado!!! Slow smoked meat is the way to go. They make great sauce and have some really good specials too. It's under NEW OWNERSHIP which has only made it better!! Great new ideas/ super friendly, fun atmosphere and people. Plus the meat is the same or better than before! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Everything was amazing... I can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu seriously everything is just so superb delicious all the meats were great the sauces are house-made and out of this world really good customer service as well and fun atmosphere with picnic style eating and BYOB!!!! Pet friendly as well!!!!

Good prices. Prompt service.I judge a place on its ribs and brisket.The brisket was juicy and didn't NEED the BBQ or house sauce. So flavorful.The ribs FELL off the bone. I pulled one to me to pick it up and the bone just came right out. With a solid smoke ring, they were tender and juicy.This place definitely deserves continued business.Also has out door activities and makes for a GREAT DATE NIGHT.

Stopped by this place after finishing and was blown away. Fantastic food, pricing, service, atmosphere. Everything was great, person taking our order was very friendly and informative. Food was the best BBQ in Colorado. This place is mt new favorite BBQ joint and i will definitely recommend and take others to it. A absolutely must try.

Loved it! Not only is the food good, the staff is super friendly and not pushy. Which I like because I am pretty indecisive. I went with My Sweet Caroline. Had very delicious flavor but I did need extra sauce for the huge roll it comes on. Luckily they have a self serve area with all the sauces. I'm traditional but did have the mustard sauce on my sandwich. The views are amazing and peaceful, love outdoor seating but not a space inside so be prepared for hazardous weather conditions.

The barbeque plate was good. After buying tea my bill was $15.00. Too much for lunch.

We have been going to this place for over 20 years and I was pleasantly surprised to see the food hadn’t changed.Trent who used to be one of the original master smoker is the proud owner of this place. Him and his wife Jeny(?)were so nice and fun when we spoke to them.We ordered the full slab of baby back’s coleslaw and baked beans to go. The beans were just as I remember, so tasty. The ribs are tender, plenty of smoke flavor, great seasoning and they do make their own barbecue sauce, a few varieties.I hadn’t been there in a while, Now they have a side patio and a full backyard patio with lots of seating.I WOULD go back to support this family owned business.

Excellent barbecue. We love the selection of barbecue sauces. I am a big barbecue fan and appreciate their style and flavor. My favorite is the brisket but the ribs are also amazing. Customer service is top notch while maintaining a casual vibe. Love that I can bring my dog to their chill patio (they have a hammock chair!).

Great food, most of the seating is outdoors so I'm sure it's even better in the summer!
